Electronic books

An electronic book (variously: e-book, eBook, e-Book, ebook, digital book or e-edition) is a book-publication in digital form, consisting of text, images, or both, readable on computers or other electronic devices.  Although sometimes defined as "an electronic version of a printed book", many e-books exist without any printed equivalent. Commercially produced and sold e-books are usually intended to be read on dedicated e-readers. However, almost any sophisticated electronic device that features a controllable viewing screen, including computers, tablets and smartphones can also be used to read e-books. (WIKIPEDIA)

Blog

Another interesting way to document your family history and share it with others is to create a family history blog.
A blog, contraption for Web log, is a very user-friendly Web site. You do not have to write code or web design. It is like writing in your personal diary. Except that ir is online -- you open your family story blog and start to write. It can be a very efficient medium for documenting your family story and sharing it with the family.

You may use blog hosting options designed specifically for genealogists, such as on the social networking site GenealogyWise or you can sign up for a hosted blogging service, such as TypePad, or pay for a standard hosted Web site. (e.g.wordpress)

Web Site

Instead of a blog, you may opt for a website if you feel like doing some design and writing a bit of code. Another option would be to use a ready made template into which you fill in all your family story data. For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5q_GjFBeN0
